The end of an era
Stature of the Gods was an absolute dominant force in vanilla wow raiding on Al'Akir, with alliance first kills or better on every single raidencounter.
In TBC we were still actively raiding, albeit at a less competitive level. The pinnacle of our success may be the the top 10 EU kill on Nefarian, or the 15th EU kill on Kel'Thuzad, or perhaps the time we killed Thrall to celebrate our 1 year anniversary?
We thank much of our accomplishments to the unique combination of personalities in the guild, and Eriond has been so frank as to compile a list of members in our SotG hall of fame.
All is not lost
Why did we put an end to SotG? We feel that now is the end of an era, and we want to have a clean slate when we start raiding in WotLK. This is why we have decided to merge with our old time rivals, MR, to form a new guild called Immersion.
The entire current raiding force as well as many of our casual members have joined this guild. We hope to be competitive in raiding once again. You'll see us around.
